Welcome to Funkypool World Tour for Active players of funkypool.com
Money
The money used for Rankings are "Fake" and not real money (sort of like Monopoly Money).
Minor Tournaments
No sessions so no punishments if you leave after a few frames, play at your leisure however the default time of Major Tournaments would stand if any frames remain on deadline day.
Deadlines will be three weeks up to the Final and four weeks for the Grand Final.
Major Tournaments
Players in GREEN in the Rankings will get to play in the Major Tournaments which is only available to the Top Eight players. Each of those players will have 48 hours roughly to accept their invitation then will go down the list to form a "proper ranking championship".
So if say one player does not accept then the player in 9th place will be invited, if two does not accept the invitation then the player in 10th position in the Rankings would also be invited up to the point where no players remain or players has accepted their invitation. Bottom Line is even if your not qualified officially for the UK Championship (8 Ball UK), The Masters (8 Ball US) or the BIG ONE the World Championship (9 Ball US) then you could still be invited if others fail to answer their invitations or does not have the time to compete in the tournament. ONLY way to guarantee a place however is to be GREEN in the Rankings.
If you have won an event in the Tournaments this season (does NOT include Grand Prix or Premier League) then you CAN enter the Champion of Champions (Random), If two tournaments has been won by the same player then next player in the Rankings will be invited who hasn't won a tournament this season.
Same invitations rule will apply as Major Tournaments however if you won an event you can accept your invitation early as your guaranteed to be invited (make sure your active as no one likes an inactive player).
You will play in several sessions, What this means is say the World Championship Final is 35 Frames, the match would be done in four sessions of 8, 8, 8 and 11 frames. If you arrange and fail to show you will lose by the Maximum Score available into that session (e.g. 4-4 and in second session, player B fails to show then loses 0-8 that session to be 4-12 by third session). If there is a good reason or if both players agree then you may continue that second session another time. I do want it to be realistic as possible however so people doesn't try and avoid opponents.
Deadlines will be two weeks per session (e.g. two sessions = four week deadline) up to the Final, six weeks for a Major Grand Final (including World Championship as two months is simply TOO long).
Each session should be done fortnightly on average and you should only arrange/play when you can play in one session. You are allowed a Maximum of 30 minutes after the arranged time before you lose session by default but player A must stay online for the duration to get the full points, If not then the session will carry on onto the next session so no player would then be punished.
Sessions can be a Minimum of Three Hours after the previous session has ended to give form a chance to change. Example, you finish a session on 21st December @ 2 pm then you can't play until 21st December @ 5 pm for the next session.
Defaults
On the Last Remaining day, the default time will be 8 pm (UK Time) and will have the same 30 minute timer so if you fail to show by 8:30, then you lose the match automatically unless both players fail to show, in which the leader will go through.
* if you both agree a time before 11 pm (UK Time), i can use that as the default time which same rules apply above, If i am not online to oversee (If agreed AFTER i log out) then i need to trust your judgment as fair and noble people, if that is the case and players disagree it will be my job to find the truth, if i am unable to do so the leader (then a default) would go through.
* Need to say BEFORE the 8 pm default time however otherwise 8 PM will be used.
On the default time all remaining frames will be played whether it is 11 frames or all 35 frames. Your job is to not get many frames (if any) to that default time on last day. If someone has to go then they will lose the match unless opponent graciously gives it to the player who left.
* If a player disconnects they may have some time to re enter (around 5 to 10 minutes) as it wasn't intentional (same goes for normal sessions) then the lose the session rule would apply unless both players agree otherwise.
If score is tied normal Clan League Default Rules will apply (effort, messages etc).
Refusal to play
You can refuse to play a player however the player doing the refusal will be punished by losing remaining frames in that match and the player doing the refusal, their ranking for that tournament will be cut by 50% but the player willing to play will have no punishments against them.
The Runner reserves the right to ban anyone from the event that they see fit even with the above rule as its their competition.
